在墨西哥的原始森林里，Sacha（艾麗西亞·希爾維斯通配音）和Manu（德雷克·貝爾配音）是一對十分要好的朋友，他們每天在叢林里奔跑嬉戲，活的自由自在，仿佛世間從未有過任何紛擾。生性活潑好動的Manu對一切充滿了好奇，這天，他不小心弄壞了一尊雕像，這尊雕像原本是供奉給森林之神的，闖下大禍的Manu就這樣遭到了驅(qū)逐，被逐出森林的Manu再也不能與Sacha在一起了。這天，沒有Manu陪伴的Sacha被狩獵者捉住，為了救出Sacha，也為了保護同伴賴以生存的森林，Manu開始了自己的作戰(zhàn)計劃！
